Project Manager

Code & Wander is looking for a project manager to join the team on a full time basis. 


The company

Code & Wander was founded in 2016 as a traditional digital product agency, designing and building products and marketing sites. More recently it has expanded to include no-code development such as Webflow and Bubble.  


The team is comprised of a mix of designers, developers and founders, both on a full and part time basis. We mainly work remotely however we have an office in Moorgate, London.


We work on quite a varied range of projects, from marketing sites to fully fledged products, crypto to the film industry, startups to corporates. 


We take care of the full life cycle of a product, idea to launch and need someone who can get involved in managing the clients and team. 


Hours: 

40h/week 


Role:

You will manage projects from idea to production. The projects vary in size, complexity and length. Smallest projects have a time span of a few weeks while larger projects can last years via a retainer. 


You will be responsible for liaising with clients and the team, making sure progress is being made and giving project updates to the clients. This will entail working closely with clients, designers, developers and other peers in the team. No two projects are the same so you will be involved in various methodologies and processes to fit the project and client.


Tasks:

The role might entail:

  • Help on proposals and gathering estimates
  • Gathering requirements
  • Creating timelines and scheduling 
  • Liaising with clients from project inception to completion
  • Manage client expectations and timesheets
  • Update clients on status on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Work closely with the team to practice good project governance, promote client happiness and look for upsell opportunities
  • Testing deliverables and making sure a high quality and standards are kept 


On occasions if time allows, you will help in lead generation and marketing ideas. 


The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects from idea to production, who is a self-starter with strong analytical, organisational skills and ownership.


You should have:

  • Good understanding of digital processes and technologies (website, landing pages, mobile etc)
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience in managing digital projects 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and partners 
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into quality solutions
  • Focus on self-improvement and the ability to communicate new ideas and methodologies
  • Hands on, passionate, persistent, and humble
  • Handles pressure well
  • Thrives in a team environment but is happy to work individually
  • Self-starter


Nice to have:

  • Previously worked in an agency
  • Testing experience
  • Marketing experience


Team:

The team is fairly small, we are currently a team of 6. All internal communications are kept in Slack and scheduling happens via ClickUp. You will have multiple projects running simultaneously. 


You will report directly to the Code & Wander’s founders and have a part time pm assistant. 


Location:

The position can be completely remote however you need to be eligible to work in the UK and have a NI number.
